Dream Internship: Join the Vietnam Equestrian Club Team!

Living the dream in Vietnam

Have you ever spent your whole day sitting at a desk and just wished you were outside? We totally get it! Life is way too short to spend it staring at a computer screen when there are horses to ride and adventures to be had. We are so excited to announce that we are looking for a few awesome interns to join our team here at the Vietnam Equestrian Club (VEC). It is going to be such a fun time and we really want people who are as crazy about horses as we are!

We are planning to make this the best internship ever. Imagine waking up in the beautiful countryside of Da Nang and Hoi An, heading over to the ranch, and seeing our beautiful horses waiting for you. It’s not just a job, it’s a whole lifestyle and we are really excited to share it with some fresh faces. We are working hard to grow our community and we need your help to make VEC the most adventurous spot in Vietnam.

What you will be doing every day

You might be wondering what a typical day looks like for an intern at VEC. Well, it is definitely not boring! We are looking for people to help us with all sorts of things. One of the main things you will be doing is helping out with our famous trail rides. We are adding more and more rides to our schedule because people just love riding through the local scenery. You will get to assist our guides, help guests get comfortable on their horses, and maybe even lead some rides once you get the hang of it!

Feeding the horses is another huge part of the job. There is something really special about being the one to bring the horses their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You really get to know their personalities and they start to recognize you as their best friend. We are also working on some general ranch maintenance to keep the place looking stunning. Whether it is fixing a fence or making sure the tack room is organized, there is always something to do to keep the club running smoothly.

The best part: No poop cleanup!

Okay, we have to talk about the best part of this whole deal. Most ranch jobs involve a lot of, well, "heavy lifting" when it comes to the stalls. But guess what? We have a dedicated team for that! You read that right. You get to spend all your time doing the fun stuff like riding, feeding, and hanging out with the horses without having to worry about manure cleanup. We wanted to make this internship really focused on the experience of being an equestrian professional, so we took the "poop duty" off the table for our interns.

We think this is a total game-changer. It means you have more energy to focus on learning about horse behavior and helping our guests have the best time ever. We are really excited to offer a position that is all about the passion for horses and less about the mess! It is all part of our goal to make VEC a place where everyone feels like they are on a permanent adventure.

Earn while you learn

We know that being an intern usually means you are working for the experience, but we wanted to do something a little extra for our team. We are offering commission on customer sessions that you participate in! This is such a cool way to earn some extra cash while you are learning the ropes. If you are helping out with a professional photo video shoot or assisting with a big group, you get a piece of the action.

We are planning to keep our sessions super busy this year, so there will be plenty of opportunities to earn. Whether it is a sunset ride or a special event, your hard work will actually put some money in your pocket. We think it’s only fair since you are helping us give our guests such an amazing time.

What we are looking for

We are not just looking for anyone; we are looking for a select group of people who really love the outdoor life. You don’t need to be a world-class rider to apply, but you definitely need to have a great attitude and a willingness to learn. We are looking for people who are proactive and don't mind getting their hands a little dirty (just not with poop!). If you are someone who loves being around animals and enjoys meeting new people from all over the world, then you are exactly who we want.

We are really excited to see how our new interns will bring their own energy to the club. We are working on building a team that feels like a family. We want people who are ready to jump into the action and help us maintain our reputation as the best equestrian spot in the country. It is all about having fun and making sure our horses are happy and healthy.

Developing your skills

This isn't just about helping us out; it’s about your growth too! We are planning to give our interns lots of hands-on training. You will learn so much about horse care, saddling, and even some advanced riding techniques.

We are working on some new training modules for our staff because we want everyone to be the best they can be. You will get to learn from our experienced trainers who have been doing this for years. They have so many stories and tips to share. It is like getting a masterclass in ranch life every single day. We are really excited to see our interns grow from beginners into confident horse people.

The vibe at VEC

The atmosphere here is really something special. We are located in one of the most beautiful parts of Vietnam, and the energy is always positive. We are adding new seating areas and places for people to hang out, so the ranch is becoming a real social hub. It’s not just about the riding; it’s about the community. We often have BBQs and hangouts after the sun goes down, and we want our interns to be right in the middle of it.

We are working on making VEC a destination for anyone who loves adventure. Whether we are planning a beach ride or just hanging out in the training arena lounge in the evening, there is always a sense of excitement. We really want you to feel like this is your second home. It’s a place where you can be yourself, learn new things, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Ranch maintenance and grooming

While we have a team for the heavy cleaning, looking after the horses' appearance and the ranch's "look" is something we all do together. We are really excited about our outdoor wash area where we groom the horses. There is something so relaxing about brushing a horse and making sure they look their best before a session. It’s a great time to bond with them and check for any nicks or scratches.

We are also working on some landscaping projects around the club. We are adding more flowers and keeping the paddocks looking green and lush. We want our ranch to be the most beautiful place in Vietnam, and our interns play a big role in keeping everything looking sharp. It’s rewarding work because you can see the results of your effort every single day!

Join the adventure!

We are really excited to get this internship program started. It is going to be an incredible season and we are looking for people who are ready to start right away. If you have been looking for a sign to quit your boring routine and do something adventurous, this is it! We are working on some really cool events for the upcoming months, and we want you to be part of the team that makes it happen.

We are planning to interview people over the next couple of weeks, so don't wait too long to reach out. This is a super unique opportunity to live and work in a beautiful place with some of the coolest animals on the planet. We can't wait to meet you and welcome you to the Vietnam Equestrian Club family!

What’s next?

We are constantly growing and adding new things to the club. We are working on new trail routes, and we are even adding more horses to our herd soon! There is never a dull moment here, and we are really excited for the future. Being an intern now means you get to see all these changes happening firsthand and be a part of our success story.

We are planning to make VEC the ultimate spot for tourism and recreation in the region. If you want to be a part of that journey, send us a message or come by and see us. We are really looking forward to hearing from all you horse lovers out there. Let’s make this the best year ever!

If this sounds like your kind of adventure, just contact us for more information. We would love to chat and see if it feels like a good fit for both of us!

Safety First: Our New Beach Riding Protocol After the Storms

Hey everyone! We are so excited to be chatting with you today. Things have been really moving and shaking here at Vietnam Equestrian Club (VEC), and we are just so pumped to share some updates about what’s happening down on the sand. If you’ve been following the news, you know that Vietnam went through a storm season last year that was honestly unlike anything we’ve seen before! It was wild, it was windy, and while the sun is shining again and the skies are that perfect blue we all love, the coastlines have been forever changed.

We’ve been out there every day scouting the paths, and we are seeing some really interesting stuff. The landscape is totally different! What used to be flat, predictable sand is now this adventurous terrain full of surprises. It’s like the beach decided to redesign itself overnight!

The Unseen Impact of the Storm Season

So, here’s the scoop. The storms from last storm season were pretty unprecedented, and they did a real number on our favorite riding stretches. Significant erosion has happened all along the coast where we take our excursions. It’s actually kind of crazy to look at, spots that were once super stable now have hidden drop-offs and these soft pockets of sand that you can’t really see until you’re right on top of them. There are exposed hazards everywhere, and the terrain is just much more uneven than it used to be.

We are always looking at the bright side, though! This just means the beach is more of a natural wonder than ever. But, because we are all about keeping you and our amazing horses safe, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to handle these new "unseen" changes. We want to make sure every second you spend with us is 100% fun and zero percent worry!

The 700kg Reality: Why We Can’t Risk the Gallop

We totally get the dream. We’ve all seen the movies, galloping through the white foam of the surf, the wind hitting your face, and that incredible feeling of power from the horse beneath you. It’s a total vibe! But when we look at the reality of horse physics, things get a bit more serious. See, a mature horse like our big boy Zeus or the beautiful Athena weighs right around 700kg. That is a whole lot of horse!

When a 700kg animal is moving at a trot or a gallop, the force is huge. On this new, eroded sand, one single slip or one soft pocket can lead to a catastrophic fall. And we aren't just talking about a little tumble. A 700kg animal falling at speed is a life-altering event. It’s dangerous for the rider, and it’s heart-breaking for the horse. At horses.vn, your life and the lives of our horses are our absolute top priority. We love Jasmine and Chloe like family, and we just refuse to compromise their safety (or yours!) for a few seconds of high speed. It’s just not worth the risk when the terrain is this unpredictable!

The New Protocol: Professional Lead-Only Riding

Because we are always working to be the best at what we do, we are introducing a new way of doing things on the beach. Effective immediately, we are shifting to a professional lead-only protocol for all our beach rides. This means that we are no longer allowing even our most experienced riders to trot or gallop while we’re out on the sand. Every single horse will stay on a lead with one of our professional trainers at all times.

This is actually a really exciting change for us! By keeping every horse on a lead, our trainers can navigate the absolute safest path through that eroded sand. They have the "eagle eyes" to spot those hidden drop-offs and soft spots before the horse even steps there. It ensures the horse stays balanced and you stay totally secure in the saddle. This decision is final and it applies to everyone, even if you’ve been riding for twenty years! We’re all in this together to keep the vibes high and the injuries at zero.

Your Experience: Photos, Walks, and Memories

Now, you might be wondering, "Does this mean the magic is gone?" Absolutely not! If anything, we think the experience is going to be even more special. You still get to enjoy that incredible feeling of being on horseback while the waves lap at the shore. It’s serene, it’s beautiful, and it’s totally "bucket-list" material.

Our trainers are actually experts at positioning you and your horse for those iconic photos! Since we are walking, we have all the time in the world to find the perfect lighting and the perfect backdrop. You’re going to get some amazing shots for your social media! Plus, a slow, rhythmic walk on the beach lets you really connect with the animal. You can feel their movement, listen to the ocean, and truly soak in the beauty of the Vietnam coast without the stress of trying to manage a horse at high speed on tricky ground. It’s all about that connection and the memories!

The "Rider’s Safety Checklist"

We want you to feel totally prepared when you arrive at our beach riding sessions, so we’ve put together a quick checklist of how we do things now:

  • Respect the Lead: Our trainers are there to be your guides and protectors. They know exactly where the sand is solid and where it’s not. Please don't ask them to release the lead: they’re keeping you safe!
  • Focus on the Walk: There is something so healing about the rhythmic gait of a horse on the sand. It’s a unique sensation that doesn’t need speed to be special. Just breathe it in!
  • Trust the Animal: Our horses are highly trained and they are doing a great job, but they rely on us to guide them through this new terrain. They trust us, and we want you to trust us too!
  • Prioritize the Photos: We are planning to stop at all the best vantage points! We want you to go home with photos that make your friends jealous, and we’re going to make sure that happens.

Join the Adventure!

We honestly can’t wait to see you out here. The world is changing, the beaches are changing, but our passion for horses and for giving you the best experience possible is stronger than ever! We are so proud of our team and our horses for adapting to these post-storm conditions with such a positive attitude.

So, come on down! Let’s go for a beautiful, safe walk on the beach, snap some incredible photos, and enjoy the gorgeous Vietnamese coastline together. It’s going to be an adventure you’ll never forget, and we’re going to be right there with you every step of the way, holding the lead and making sure everything is perfect.

If you have any questions about our new protocols or want to book your next visit, check out our FAQ or just shoot us a message. We love hearing from you guys! This community is what makes Vietnam Equestrian Club so special, and we are just so happy to have you as part of the family.

Stay tuned for me!

Ride Smart: Why Safety and Legality Matter at Vietnam Equestrian Club

[HERO] Ride Smart: Why Safety and Legal Registration Matter for Horse Riding in Vietnam

Hey everyone! We are so stoked to see how fast horseback riding in Vietnam is growing. It feels like every week we meet more people who are absolutely falling in love with these incredible animals. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, there is something truly magical about connecting with a horse and seeing the beautiful landscapes of Da Nang and Hoi An from the saddle. But, because the sport is still so new here, we really need to talk about something super important: safety and why choosing a legally registered stable is a total game-changer for your experience.

The truth is, horse riding in Vietnam doesn't have a lot of formal structure or big government regulations yet. It’s a bit like the Wild West out there right now! Because there aren't strict "horse laws" in place, we’ve seen a lot of illegal, tourist-run operations popping up all over the place. These spots might look okay on Instagram, but behind the scenes, there is zero accountability. If something goes wrong, or if a horse isn't being treated right, there’s no one to answer for it. That’s why we’re so passionate about doing things the right way at Vietnam Equestrian Club (VEC).

Why being a legally registered business actually matters

You might be thinking, "Hey, I just want to ride a horse, why do I care about paperwork?" We totally get it! But being a legally registered Vietnamese business means we are here for the long haul. We aren't a pop-up shop that’s going to disappear tomorrow. We have a real commitment to our community, our staff, and, most importantly, our riders.

Most of those illegal spots run by tourists don’t have insurance. Like, none at all. If you’re riding at a place that isn't registered, you are taking a massive risk. At VEC, we’ve put in the work to make sure we are fully compliant with Vietnamese law. We want you to feel totally relaxed when you’re with us, knowing that we’ve taken every precaution to keep you safe. We don't take shortcuts because we actually care about the future of horses in Vietnam. We are building something that lasts, and that starts with being a professional, legal operation.

Our team is trained for your safety

It’s not just about the papers, though! It’s about the people. Because this sport is so fresh in the country, finding experienced horse people can be tough. That’s why we spend so much time training our team. We aren't just handing you a lead rope and saying "good luck." Our instructors are trained specifically to handle the unique challenges of riding in this environment.

VEC instructor interacting with saddled horse

We are constantly working on our skills and we are planning to bring in even more international expertise to keep our standards sky-high! We are teaching our team how to read horse body language, how to spot potential issues before they happen, and how to give you the best possible guidance during your lesson. Whether you’re checking out our introduction to horse riding trial lesson or you’re an experienced pro, our team is there to make sure everything goes smoothly. We are really excited about how much our local staff is learning, they are becoming total experts!

Safety gear isn't optional (and it shouldn't be!)

We see it all the time on social media: people riding horses in flip-flops or without helmets. It honestly makes our hearts sink a little! Horseback riding in Vietnam is an adventure sport, and like any adventure, you need the right gear. At Vietnam Equestrian Club (VEC), we insist on safety gear for everyone, especially the kiddos.

Kid with helmet at VEC

We provide high-quality helmets and we make sure they actually fit right. A helmet that’s sliding around your face isn't going to do much! We are adding new gear to our shop all the time because we want our riders to have access to the best stuff. For the little ones, safety is our absolute number one priority. We are currently running some amazing advanced kids packages where we teach them not just how to ride, but how to be safe around horses on the ground too. It’s all about building a solid foundation of respect and safety from day one.

Happy horses make for safe rides

One thing people don't always realize is that a horse's behavior is directly linked to how they are treated and cared for. If a horse is stressed, hungry, or in pain, they are much more likely to be unpredictable. This is a huge issue with some of those fly-by-night tourist operations. They often don't have the knowledge or the resources to properly care for their horses in Vietnam.

Two horses at VEC with stables visible in the background

At VEC, our horses are part of the family! We are so proud of how healthy and happy our herd is. We are working with specialized vets and nutritionists to make sure every horse gets exactly what they need. We have plenty of space for them to roam, and we make sure they get lots of downtime. A happy horse is a calm horse, and a calm horse is a safe horse for you to ride. We even have specific categories for our stallions and mares so you can learn more about the different personalities in our stable. We are really excited to show you how much love goes into our horse care!

Professional facilities vs. "The Street"

Riding a horse down a busy road might look cool for a second, but it’s actually super dangerous, especially in Vietnam where traffic can be… well, a little chaotic! That’s why we’ve invested so much into our professional facilities. We have secure, enclosed arenas where you can learn the ropes without having to worry about a motorbike zooming past and startling your horse.

Vietnam Equestrian Club's Main Riding Arena Entrance

Our training arena is designed to give you a controlled environment to build your confidence. And when you’re done riding, we are really excited that you can actually chill in comfort too, because we are building the whole vibe around safe adventures and easy downtime!

Spacious outdoor lounge area at VEC

We are also adding new features to our grounds all the time! We are currently working on improving our trail paths and we are planning some pretty epic trail horseback riding routes that stay away from the hustle and bustle. When you ride with a legally registered club like VEC, you’re paying for a safe, maintained environment that’s been built specifically for equestrian sports.

What we are planning for the future

We are just getting started! We have so many big dreams for VEC and for the equestrian community in Vietnam. We are working on setting up more private events and weddings because, let’s be honest, horses make everything more magical. We are also adding a BBQ and food services package so you can hang out and enjoy the vibe after your ride.

The illuminated outdoor riding arena at VEC with fire pit and BBQ

We are really excited to be part of the solution when it comes to safety and regulation. We want to set the standard for what horse riding in Vietnam should look like. By choosing Vietnam Equestrian Club (VEC), you aren't just getting a ride: you’re supporting a team that cares about the law, the animals, and your well-being. We are so grateful for all the support we’ve received so far, and we can’t wait to see you at the stables soon!

Whether you’re looking for beach horseback riding or just want to hang out with some cool animals, make sure you do it the smart way. Ask questions, check for registration, and always put safety first. We are here to help you every step of the way!

Stay tuned for me!

Light Up the Night: Evening Rides & VIP Deck Reopening at VEC!

We've been working on something really exciting at Vietnam Equestrian Club, and we honestly can't wait to share it with all of you! If you've been dreaming about horseback riding in Vietnam but the daytime heat has been holding you back, or if you've been looking for that perfect evening experience with horses in Vietnam, well… your prayers have just been answered.

The Lights Are On, and So Is the Fun!

Here's the big news: we've just installed brand new outdoor lighting in our riding arena! That's right – we're officially taking our horse riding in Vietnam experience into the evening hours. No more racing against the sunset to finish your lesson. No more missing out because you work during the day. Now, you can saddle up under the stars and enjoy the cooler evening temperatures while learning to ride.

The lighting setup is pretty awesome, if we do say so ourselves. We've got professional-grade outdoor lights that illuminate the entire arena perfectly – bright enough to see everything clearly, but soft enough to keep that magical evening atmosphere alive. There's something absolutely incredible about riding a horse at night. The whole vibe changes. It's quieter, more peaceful, and honestly? A bit more adventurous.

Evening horse riding lesson under arena lights at Vietnam Equestrian Club

For those of you visiting Da Nang or Hoi An and looking for unique things to do, this is going to be a game-changer. Imagine spending your day at the beach, grabbing dinner, and then heading over to us for an evening riding lesson. It's the perfect way to cap off a day in Vietnam, and it's something you definitely won't find at most riding facilities around here.

Night Riding: A Whole New Experience

We're really excited about what these lights mean for our community. Whether you're a beginner taking your first trial lesson or an experienced rider working on advanced techniques, the evening sessions are bringing a fresh energy to everything we do.

The horses seem to love it too! There's something calming about the evening hours – fewer distractions, cooler air, and a more focused atmosphere. We're finding that both kids and adults are really connecting with the experience in new ways. Parents especially appreciate being able to bring their children after school instead of trying to squeeze lessons into busy weekends.

And for our tourists? Well, this opens up a whole new world of possibilities. You can spend your morning exploring the ancient streets of Hoi An, your afternoon on the beach, and your evening with us learning horseback riding in Vietnam. Talk about making the most of your vacation!

Night riding at VEC with the viewing patio and BBQ vibes

The VIP Deck Is Back, Baby!

But wait, there's more! (We always wanted to say that.) We've also reopened the VIP deck in our VIP customer arena, and we’re really excited about how it’s turning out. It’s the perfect perch to watch lessons, hang out with friends and family, or just grab a cold drink and soak up the whole “horses + fresh air + good vibes” thing we’re always chasing.

The VIP deck gives you that bird’s-eye view of the arena, so parents can actually relax while the kids are riding (instead of doing the whole stand-in-the-sun routine). And yep, photographers are already loving it — especially now that evening riding is happening more and more, because the light and the mood up there is just unreal.

We’re also leaning hard into comfort up there. We’ve added new outdoor couches (proper comfy ones), and we’re keeping the patio lighting on in the evenings so it feels warm and chill and kinda impossible to leave. It’s turning into the spot where everyone ends up after a ride, even if they swear they’re “just popping in for a quick lesson.”

Spacious lounge with rattan sofa and blue cushions at VEC VIP deck

Fire Pits, BBQ, and Summer Vibes

Now here’s where things get really fun. With the VIP deck back, we’re also building out the patio hangout side of VEC even more — and we’re really excited because we’re adding all the stuff that makes an evening feel like an actual event, not just a lesson and goodbye.

We’ve got the fire pit going, we’ve got BBQ set up, and we’re planning more casual gatherings where you can ride, eat, chill, and just stay a while. Like… you finish an evening ride, you wander up to the patio, someone’s grilling, the fire pit’s crackling, and suddenly it’s not a “facility” anymore — it’s the coolest little horse hangout in the Da Nang / Hoi An area.

And yep, we’re still really excited about the huge projection screen too. We’re setting it up for themed movie nights — ride under the lights, grab BBQ, sink into the new couches, and then a movie under the night sky. That’s the plan, and we’re working on making it a regular thing.

We’re also keeping it super social. If you’re visiting Vietnam and you want that one night that feels different (and honestly, a bit more adventurous), this is exactly the vibe we’re creating.

Building Community, One Ride at a Time

What we're really building here goes beyond just lighting and decks and fire pits. We're creating a community space where people can connect over their love of horses, adventure, and the outdoors. Whether you're a serious equestrian or someone who's never been near a horse before, there's a place for you here at VEC.

The evening sessions are bringing out new faces, and we're loving it. We've got office workers dropping by after their day ends, travelers adding us to their Vietnam itinerary, and families making it their weekly tradition. The addition of the social spaces – the VIP deck, the patio, the fire pit – means you can make a whole evening out of your visit.

And let's be honest, where else in Vietnam can you ride horses under the lights, BBQ with new friends, and sit around a fire pit sharing stories? We're not just offering horseback riding lessons – we're creating experiences and memories that last long after you leave.

Guests gathering on the patio at Vietnam Equestrian Club

What's Coming This Summer

As we're heading into summer, we're planning some really exciting events. The BBQ area is going to be getting a workout, that's for sure! We're thinking beach cookouts (yes, we do beach horseback riding too!), sunset ride-and-dine experiences, and maybe even some live music evenings.

For our VIP clients, we're working on exclusive packages that combine riding sessions with the full patio experience. Imagine bringing your family or a group of friends, having everyone try their hand at horse riding in Vietnam, and then gathering around the fire pit for food and fun. It's the kind of experience that turns a regular vacation into something truly special.

We're also exploring options for private events and celebrations. Birthday parties around the fire pit? Team building events that combine riding lessons with BBQ? We're open to all ideas! If you've got an idea, we want to hear it.

Come See It for Yourself

The best part about all these improvements? They're ready right now! The lights are on, the VIP deck is open, and we're ready to welcome you for evening adventures. Whether you're local to the Da Nang area or visiting from abroad, whether you're an experienced rider or complete beginner, we've got something special waiting for you.

The combination of evening riding under professional lighting, the social atmosphere of the VIP deck, and the upcoming summer BBQ season is creating something truly unique in the Vietnam equestrian scene. We're not just another riding school – we're building a destination where adventure, community, and amazing experiences come together.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends, bring your family, or come solo and make some new friends. Experience horses in Vietnam like never before, under the stars with the cool evening breeze. Try your hand at horseback riding Vietnam style, then kick back on the deck and enjoy the good life.

Check out our class offerings to find the perfect session for you, and come see why everyone's talking about the new evening vibes at Vietnam Equestrian Club. Trust us, once you experience sunset riding followed by fire pit hangs, you'll understand why we're so excited about these upgrades!

See you in the arena – day or night! Stay tuned for more updates as we keep making VEC the most adventurous place to experience horses in Vietnam!

Grand Re-Opening: Step Inside the New VEC Clubhouse and Upgraded Facilities in Da Nang!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! After months of construction, renovations, and some seriously exciting upgrades, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of our completely remodeled facilities here in Da Nang. We’ve been working around the clock to create something really special for our members and visitors, and we honestly can’t wait for you to experience everything we’ve built.

This isn’t just a simple renovation – we’re talking about a complete transformation that’s going to change how you experience equestrian life at VEC. From our brand-new air-conditioned clubhouse to expanded training facilities and even a special new home for our magnificent Zeus, every corner of our property has been touched by this incredible makeover.

The Heart of Our New Experience: The Air-Conditioned Clubhouse

Let’s start with the crown jewel of our renovation – our stunning new clubhouse that overlooks the Pegasus Arena. We’ve created a climate-controlled sanctuary where members and spectators can relax in complete comfort while watching the action unfold in the arena below. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and we’re really excited about how this space is going to transform the spectator experience.

Inside the clubhouse, we’ve thought of everything. The changing room now features individual member lockers, so you can store your gear safely and conveniently. No more worrying about where to put your belongings – we’ve got you covered! And speaking of being covered, we’ve completely remodeled our bathroom facilities to include proper shower facilities. After a long day in the saddle, there’s nothing better than being able to freshen up before heading home.

But here’s where things get really exciting – we’ve expanded our tack room into something that’s part storage, part showroom. This isn’t just a place to store equipment anymore; it’s a proper showcase for our own VEC tack and apparel line. We’re really proud of the quality gear we’ve developed, and now we have a beautiful space to display it properly. Whether you’re looking for new riding equipment or want to rep VEC with our custom apparel, everything is right there for you to see and try.

The Outdoor Paradise: Deck, BBQ, and Member Perks

Now, if you think the indoor facilities are impressive, wait until you see our massive outdoor deck! This isn’t just any deck – we’re talking about a sprawling outdoor area that overlooks the arena and offers comfortable seating with plenty of shade. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with fellow riders, watch lessons, or simply enjoy the beautiful Da Nang weather.

The deck features our brand-new BBQ area, which we’re incredibly excited about. We’re planning regular BBQ events and gatherings, and this space is going to be the heart of our community activities. But that’s not all – we’ve also introduced a special members’ menu featuring light snacks and drinks. Whether you need a quick energy boost between rides or want to celebrate after a great lesson, we’ve got delicious options available right on-site.

Mount Olympus: Home of Zeus

Here’s something really special that we’re particularly proud of – we’re calling the back area of our clubhouse “Mount Olympus,” and it’s become the new home for our majestic white stallion, Zeus. This isn’t just a practical decision; it’s symbolic of the elevated experience we’re creating at VEC. Zeus deserves a regal setting, and Mount Olympus provides exactly that.

The positioning is perfect – Zeus can survey his domain while being close enough to all the action. Members and visitors love getting to see him in this spectacular setting, and honestly, Zeus seems to love the attention! It’s become one of the most photographed spots on our property, and we completely understand why.

Across the Street: The New Training Revolution

But wait, there’s more! We’ve expanded our footprint across the street with an incredible new 50-foot training pen. This space is a game-changer for our programs. It’s the perfect size for horses to get proper exercise and work out, and it’s absolutely ideal for beginners who are learning to trot and canter.

The beauty of this new training pen is its versatility. Advanced riders can use it for specific training exercises, while beginners can practice their skills in a contained, safe environment. We’re already seeing how this additional space is improving our lesson programs and giving our horses more variety in their daily routines.

We have also expanded our staff! With more trainers and more lesson plans available! We hope the new facility creates a safe, comfortable and professional space for our members to ride and relax.

And here’s something practical that everyone’s going to love – we’ve added proper onsite parking for both cars and motorbikes! No more circling the block looking for a place to park or worrying about where to leave your bike. We’ve got dedicated spaces right here on the property, making your visit to VEC more convenient than ever.

Pasture Paradise: Beauty Meets Function

We haven’t forgotten about our beautiful mares, either. The pasture has received some seriously impressive upgrades that combine functionality with natural beauty. We’ve planted nine trees along the roadside, which serve a dual purpose – they provide much-needed shade for our horses while dramatically improving the visual appeal of the area.

But the real showstopper is at the back of the pasture. We’ve planted beautiful flowers near the rear fence, creating a stunning vista that overlooks the picturesque rice fields beyond. When you look out over the pasture now, you see this gorgeous progression from our flowers to the traditional Vietnamese countryside stretching into the distance. It’s honestly breathtaking, and it perfectly captures what makes our location so special.

These aren’t just cosmetic improvements – the added shade from the trees makes a real difference in the comfort of our mares, especially during the hotter months. The flowers attract beneficial insects and add to the overall ecosystem health of our property. It’s sustainable beautification that benefits everyone.

The Complete VEC Experience

What we’re most excited about is how all these improvements work together to create a complete experience. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, a beginner taking your first lesson, or a family member coming to watch and support, we’ve created spaces and amenities that make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.

The air-conditioned clubhouse means you can escape the heat while still being part of the action. The outdoor deck gives you the option to be outside when the weather’s perfect. The new training facilities mean better lessons and more opportunities to improve your riding. The upgraded pastures mean our horses are happier and healthier, which directly benefits everyone who rides with us.

What’s Next?

We’re already planning our grand re-opening celebration, and we want you to be part of it! This is going to be more than just a facility tour – we’re planning demonstrations, special activities, and of course, a proper BBQ on our new deck. It’s going to be a celebration of community, horses, and the incredible journey we’ve taken to get to this point.

We’re also working on new programs and activities that take advantage of our expanded facilities. From beginner-friendly trail rides to advanced training clinics, from family BBQ days to professional photo shoots in our stunning new settings, there’s something exciting planned for everyone.

Stay tuned for more details about our grand re-opening celebration and all the exciting events we’re planning. We can’t wait to welcome you to the new VEC and show you everything we’ve been working so hard to create. Come see what makes Da Nang’s premier equestrian experience even more amazing!

More Events Before The New Year

As the weather remains moderately good this rainy season here in central Vietnam we are planning a series of promotional events to gear up for next years riding season.

As soon as weather allows we will be doing a series of photos and video shoots on the beach with our staff and trainers playing with the horses in the water and riding along the majestic beaches that only Vietnam can offer.

The goal is to show another side of horses that most people might not get to see. How playful they can be both swimming and rolling around in the sand.

We are really excited to keep everyone posted on this project and will post as soon as we have photos and images to share.

Website Updates

We are working hard to add more content and services over the next few weeks. The back end system is nearly completed and we should be working on the frontend content sooner than expected,
